One of a kind patchwork tote. Each tote is made to order, so will feature a slightly different pattern of colors, but will include the colors shown in the photographs.
Made entirely by hand, this tote features 4" x 4" squares of vegetable tanned cowhide in a variety of earthy towns, sewn together by hand with over 80 feet of thread.
11.5 inches wide, 13.5 inches high, and 4.5 inches deep.

We condition the leather with our own blend of oils and local beeswax, so it is water resistant and can be worn out in any kind of weather!
Leather is a natural product, and each piece we work with has a slightly different grain pattern. We carefully lay out our patterns to showcase the beauty of all parts of a hide, which results in bags that are truly one of a kind.
Our signature hand stitching is informed by our study of shoemaking. It involves hand punching each hole by hand, then sewing with two needles at once, joining the pieces together seamlessly. As a result, the insides of our bags show little or no stitching, and feature clean, crisp lines that are just as beautiful as the outsides. We take great joy in creating bags in which every stitch is intentional and every inch is thought out!
